Career as a personnel services
clerk

During your training as a personnel services clerk at Antrok, you will primarily work in our HR department team, where you will learn the basics of working in one of the company's most important professional fields:
Human Resources.

As the link between applicants and the company, you will be responsible for creating job profiles, formulating job advertisements and actively shaping the communication of our vacancies to the outside world. In your area of responsibility, you will manage incoming applications, conduct interviews with promising candidates and draw up employment contracts. You will also be the point of contact for our existing employees in many HR matters, such as planning and organizing further training.

Your apprenticeship will also give you an insight into a very similar, yet different area: as an external service provider, you will place personnel with larger companies. To do this, you will identify specific requirements in consultations with the customer, find suitable applicants and take care of personnel deployment planning. As supply and demand rarely balance each other out in the personnel market, your day-to-day work will sometimes focus on finding customers and sometimes on finding specialists, which makes the job even more varied and exciting.

Contents of the training

Training as a personnel services clerk generally takes three years, although the duration of training can be shortened to up to two and a half years in individual cases. You will learn the practical know-how with us. You will deepen the necessary theoretical knowledge on certain days of the week or at regular intervals at vocational school.

In your first year of training, you will mainly deal with personnel administration, such as creating personnel files, as well as recruiting personnel. In the second year, you will then learn how to recruit staff, conclude contracts and prepare staff assignments. At the end of the second year, your intermediate examination is also on the syllabus. In the third and final year of your apprenticeship, you will learn how to acquire and process orders. Managing and promoting staff are also at the top of your to-do list here.

If you want to go further after your apprenticeship, you have the opportunity to specialize in a specific area and, for example, take part in further training courses on personnel planning or support. There are also advanced training courses such as HR specialist, which qualify you for middle management jobs. If you have a university entrance qualification, there are also various study options available.

What does the working environmentlook like?

During your training as a personnel services clerk, you will mainly work in offices or meeting rooms. However, this does not always have to be in the office, as you will also be visiting customers more often. Attending job fairs where you represent our company is also part of the job. The working hours are based on a normal 40-hour week. Professionalism and a well-groomed appearance are a must, especially for job interviews and customer meetings. Business-appropriate clothing should therefore definitely be in your closet.
