The same monotonous processes every day? No way! During your training as an industrial clerk, you will get to know all areas of our company from the ground up. You will rotate through the various commercial departments in order to get to know all areas of activity. During your training, you will be the link between production and administration and will therefore get to know and understand the entire production processes of the product range. You will not only be familiar with product quality assurance in the company office, but also with the logistics chain, including transport carriers and means of transportation.
In Purchasing, you will be more involved in determining requirements for planning and placing orders. You will also spend time in the warehouse and learn about the structure and processes of warehouse management. You may also be responsible for the receipt and storage of goods.
In sales, you will learn how to accept, process and follow up on orders. An important component here is also controlling, where you will be responsible for cost planning and control. This may also involve drawing up price lists or negotiating with customers.
Another part of your training will be in human resources, where you will get to know the application process from the other side. Your tasks here will include determining and planning personnel requirements and helping with recruitment. The focus here is on personnel recruiting.
How do I let potential customers know that my product is available? A crucial question that every company asks itself. This is where the marketing department comes into play: as part of the team, you will experience first-hand what it means to be involved in the marketing of products.
Contents of the training
Your training as an industrial clerk is generally designed to last three years. However, under certain conditions - for example very good school results - it is possible to shorten the duration to two and a half or even two years.
The training is dual, which means that in addition to the practical content in the company, you will also be taught the theoretical basics at a vocational school. You will take an intermediate examination halfway through the apprenticeship. Unlike other apprenticeships, as a future industrial clerk you are not free to choose a specific specialization. However, depending on your interests and strengths, you can deepen your knowledge in the areas of sales, product development, warehouse logistics, project accounting or personnel marketing.
What does the working environmentlook like?
The Maintenance Campus has been the hub for Antrok since 2019. Here you will find modern offices and workstations, common rooms and a canteen for lunch breaks with colleagues and other trainees.
