The Antrok Social Charter

Preamble

ANTROK has established itself on the market as a committed and reliable system partner for complete industrial solutions. In addition to industrial pipeline construction for mechanical process engineering systems, energy technology, supply and production technology and the steel structures segment, Antrok's range of services also includes the Foundry Technology Competence Center with equipment engineering for die casting machines and trimming presses as well as the preventive maintenance and servicing of die casting moulds and trimming tools.

Antrok continues to expand its competence centers both technically and in terms of personnel and now employs an average of 230 people. Antrok's development also reflects the increasing globalization and internationalization of the markets. The company's core values are competence and tradition, outstanding quality, innovation and creativity as well as social and ecological commitment.

Antrok's international orientation is essential for its competitiveness and thus for securing the future of the company and its employees. Antrok and its employees are facing up to the challenges of globalization together. Together, the opportunities for the company's success, employment and competitiveness are to be exploited and possible risks limited.

With this Social Charter, Antrok documents its fundamental social rights and principles. They form the basis of Antrok's corporate policy.

The social rights and principles described in this agreement are based on the relevant conventions of the International Labor Organization of the United Nations (ILO).

Antrok is convinced that social responsibility is an indispensable component of value-oriented corporate management and an important factor for the long-term success of the company. The future is secured in the spirit of social responsibility on the basis and with the aim of economic and technological competitiveness. A particular expression of social responsibility is the endeavor to secure and develop employment.

With this declaration, Antrok wants to promote and further develop social justice and sustainable positive development - both in its own company and with its contractual partners and suppliers. Antrok therefore adheres to the following standards and recommendations:

Basic objectives

1. No discrimination

Antrok guarantees equal opportunities and equal treatment of people who work for Antrok, regardless of ethnic origin, skin color, gender, religion, nationality, sexual orientation, social background or political views, insofar as this is based on democratic principles and tolerance towards those with different opinions. Employees are generally selected, hired and promoted on the basis of their qualifications and skills. If Antrok becomes aware of discrimination against its employees, Antrok will take measures to put a stop to this and prevent further discrimination.

2. Remuneration

Wages and other benefits for a regular working week correspond at least to the national legal minimum standards. Antrok observes the principle of fair pay. Antrok is committed to ensuring that all persons (whether permanent staff or temporary workers) who work for Antrok at its German locations receive an hourly wage of at least €13.50 gross.

3. Voluntary employment

Antrok consistently rejects any knowing use of forced or compulsory labor, including involuntary prison labor.

4. No child labor

Child labor is prohibited. Antrok only hires employees who meet the minimum age for admission to employment according to the respective national regulations. Their health and safety must not be compromised.

5. Working hours

Working hours are set in accordance with the applicable national laws.

6. Occupational health and safety

Antrok complies with national standards for a safe, healthy and hygienic working environment and ensures this through its own occupational health and safety organization. This promotes appropriate health and safety practices and facilities, taking into account the current state of knowledge in the metal industry and any specific hazards. Antrok also strives to continuously reduce health risks for employees by constantly improving the equipment at individual workplaces.

All persons working for Antrok receive regular training on general and workplace-related health hazards and preventive measures.

7. Qualification

In the interests of employee satisfaction and employee development, Antrok offers the opportunity to take part in training and further qualification measures.

8. Contractual partners, subcontractors, suppliers

For Antrok, workers' rights are an essential part of sustainable development. Antrok therefore strives to work with contractual partners who recognize the above principles and implement them themselves. To this end, Antrok will inform its contractual partners about the contents of the Social Charter. When drafting contracts with suppliers, Antrok will negotiate a corresponding regulation; Antrok will request temporary employment agencies to observe this Social Charter.

Implementation

1. Information

Antrok informs all employees about this declaration.

2. Promotion

Antrok wants to continue to live up to its social responsibility in the future and promote the observance and further development of social rights in the best possible way.

3. Multiplication

Antrok expressly encourages and supports its business partners to take this Social Charter into account in their own corporate policies. Antrok sees this as an advantageous basis for further business relations. In the event of blatant violations of this declaration, Antrok will review future relationships.

4. Claims

This declaration does not establish any claims for third parties.

The Social Charter comes into force when it is signed. It does not apply retroactively.
