RETROFIT SAVES TIME AND COSTS

One of Antrok's core competencies is the retrofitting and conversion of existing - usually older - systems as part of RetroFit. By replacing outdated components and adding new, contemporary technological developments, we bring proven systems back up to date. The stable basic substance of the machine remains completely intact. The decisive advantage for our customers lies in the modernization of the system and the associated increase in productivity at significantly lower costs compared to a new purchase.

The RetroFit of your systems pursues different objectives, depending on the initial situation. The focus is on increasing production volumes by embedding older machines in modern IT environments or retrofitting automation technology. Similarly, a RetroFit is always a good idea if a system needs to be converted to accommodate changed product geometries or if there is general potential for optimization, for example in terms of feeding, the efficiency of the machines used or energy consumption. Other starting points that we examine as part of the RetroFit are work ergonomics and occupational safety, which are subject to constant tightening due to evolving regulations.

Experience for special requirements

RetroFit of oven systems

Heat treatment ovens for industrial production differ in a number of variables, such as the type of oven and the heating system. Each planning component is designed for the individual framework conditions and process sequences at the place of use. If these framework conditions change, e.g. due to product changes or technical developments, or if the system simply shows signs of wear and tear, the Antrok RetroFit for furnace systems is the best choice for optimizing and restoring production efficiency.

Starting points for improvements can be found in the loading and unloading of the ovens and the associated control technology. The heat conducting plates in the furnace chamber, the insulation of the furnace body and the supply and circulation of air for gradual cooling are also subject to efficiency improvements.

RetroFit from grinding cells

Grinding cells are used to remove casting flash, interfering contours and firing cracks from the manufacturing process, to compensate for poorly formed geometries in the mold or to achieve dimensional accuracy in post-processing. Complex systems of this type are often subject to optimization potential. In RetroFit for industrial sanding cells, we check the parameters of availability, cycle times, accuracy, ergonomics and occupational health.

Optimization potential can be found in the use of alternative drive technologies, more effective robots and PLC control. Upstream and downstream processes such as loading and unloading also offer considerable savings potential in some cases. When it comes to occupational safety, the correct planning of the extraction system plays a decisive role in risk prevention. We plan and implement coordinated solutions for you that are adapted to your spatial conditions.

RetroFit of washing systems

Washing systems are at the end of the machining process chain and remove material residues from the workpieces during production. As part of the RetroFit for washing systems, we focus on improving the cleaning result and increasing throughput.

To increase efficiency, we are looking into replacing the nozzle technology or using different pressures to apply the washing emulsion to the product. Equivalent starting points also include intelligent interlinking when feeding and discharging the workpieces, the drive and conveyor technology and the media supply.
