RetroFit of an oven system

With a length of over 40 meters, the four-storey continuous heat treatment plant of our customer from the automotive industry is the largest plant for structural and chassis parts in Europe. Antrok played a key role in its construction and installation. The plant underwent a RetroFit in 2018.

With the aim of reducing susceptibility to faults, the manipulators were first checked and the chains, drive wheels, drive rollers and defective parts were replaced. For greater stability in the process, the oven rails of the baskets were also replaced with an improved and fixed design that reliably prevents them from slipping in future.

The sliding contacts of the conductor rails for the water bath and the air shower were also checked and serviced, and the control cabinet for the water bath was repaired following damage. In future, additional safety will be provided by the integration of a safety temperature circuit for the gas ovens, which automatically switches the system to fault if the temperature is exceeded.
