RetroFit of an impregnation system

Antrok has put its in-house impregnation system to the test and optimized it as part of a RetroFit. The results are impressive: Thanks to intelligent solutions, we were able to increase the throughput of components by 80%.

The core elements of the optimization are the installation of a second manipulator and a second polymerization basin, which prevent a parts jam in the system at high capacity utilization. At the same time, all work steps in the system were checked for efficiency and rescheduled if necessary. This involved optimizing the nozzle technology, pumps, media supply and transport technology. At the same time, the existing control technology was replaced with a modern Siemens S7 control system to ensure that all modernizations function optimally. Lifting aids for loading and unloading the baskets also ensure compliance with health and safety regulations and improved working ergonomics.
