Realization of a steam boiler system

A steam boiler system with a low NOx burner and a steam output of 7 t saturated steam/h for the provision of process steam was created for our customer in the pharmaceutical industry. Antrok was responsible for the delivery, complete piping, installation and commissioning of the system. In order to transfer the weight of the boiler to the existing foundations, a boiler chair was designed, manufactured and installed. A boiler platform was also planned and installed to provide access to the boiler system and adapted to the existing structure. During the installation of the new boiler system, the removal of the old boiler and the installation of the new boiler had to be precisely timed. Due to the maximum possible process interruptions, both had to be completed within 36 hours.

In addition to the construction of the new boiler system, new pressure reducing stations were supplied and installed for two existing steam boilers (dimensions DN 150 - DN 200). These are required to adjust the boiler-side supply of steam (14 and 10 bar respectively) to the network pressure (max. 4.5 bar).

Antrok supplied, installed and piped an automatic sampling station to automate the monitoring of the properties of saturated steam and condensate.
