Installation of a heating cartridge

Antrok planned and manufactured an additional heating system for a heavy oil tank (ø 38 m, H 20.5 m) that was 3/4 full and had a defective floor heating system in order to heat and pump out the heavy oil in the tank. The heating register was lowered into the filled tank in one piece using a 250 t truck-mounted crane via a newly created roof opening and placed freely on the tank floor. The external dimensions of the heater were predetermined due to the roof construction of the tank. The construction consists of three parts, which were designed as a steel framework construction and assembled on site.
